Hi everyone :)
My hair is growing back after my 4 rounds of TCH. Its been about 6 months since then. Its been shaped a couple of times and colored. (It came back totally gray) But it is course and DRY!
Anyone find any shampoos, conditioners or treatments that work well for post chemo hair? I've been trying mostly natural products and they don't seem to do well moisturizing in fact they seem drying. Help!

Hi, I first tried Nioxin, which is peppermint-based, and helps with thinning, dry hair.

Next I did a lot of swimming and my hair got hideously dry, and I was put onto Kevin Murphy Plumping Wash and Plumping Rince, and Plumping leave-in volumiser. The latter brand is Australian, and has left my hair really soft and healthy again.

a hairdresser told me you should leave in a little of the cream rinse, don't rinse it all out. Also you could put a little olive or avocado oil on your hair - the Italians use that - on their bodies as well. Heated up a little might even work better. At the cancer hospital here, an esthetician suggested oils as well and also coconut or cacao oil on the skin. Her feeling was use as natural as possible. and of course we want to avoid parabens.
good luck
