I took part in the trial for DCIS. Finished the vaccine series in October 2020. I also had the chance to view the earlier phase 1 trial for women with more advanced disease. In that trial of the 22 women who were treated, only two had a recurrence of their HER2 disease. AND one of those two had not finished the vaccine series and the other woman developed cancer in the opposite breast. I don't consider either of those a recurrence which means NONE of the women treated had a recurrence.
