Has anyone experienced headaches that just don't stop? I have had one for over a month with little reprieve. I have an appt with my onc next week and with my PCP the following week. Not sure if I should contact my neurologist too. I get Herceptin and Perjeta every 21 days for over two years now and have tolerated it well.

Hello Colleen,

I'm not on herceptin now but do remember when I was getting herceptin infusions getting terrible headaches and terrible aches in my legs. At that time I wouldn't even drive. My oncologist
Suggested instead of stopping herceptin I stay on it
So he prescribed
Medication for the headaches. For me it was doable.
I hope your headache goes away all goes well with your appointment!

Hi Colleen,

Headaches make it so hard to function, I am sorry that you are experiencing this on a daily basis. Please make sure that you get a brain MRI as soon as possible, to rule out any brain issues.

Please keep us updated.

Best wishes
Fern

It took me quite awhile to figure out that most of my chronic headaches were due to dehydration (chronic and fairly significant pooperia on all her2 regimes). I've suffered (suffered!!!!) a zillion migraine type headaches while on this regime, which now I can head off (ha ha) by getting hydration if needed or stay on the gatorade or similar drinks.
