Some of you will remember dearjilly - Jill Topham McCullough . Jill died a few days ago, leaving behind her husband and two young children. She shared photos of her beautiful beach wedding with us here three years ago. She had a great sense of humour, and lived life to the fullest. She was only 36 years old.
Love goes out to her family and friends.

How tragic. It is so difficult to hear that this disease has taken another precious life. Being so young herself and leaving behind young children makes this especially difficult. My heart breaks for her and her family. I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

I adored Jill ! Have been away from the board for a bit and came to see this today. Instantly shocked and grieving. She was a sweetheart. A fighter. A beautiful human being. Always a delight, even when she talked about her battle. May she rest in peace, soaring around up above. Love you Jilly... My heartfelt condolences to her beloved family.

Very sorry to learn of this sad news. Jill and I exchanged messages about brain mets, but I had not heard anything for over a year. She was a positive woman and probably made the most of her time left with her family.

Heartbreaking, leaving behind her husband and young children. I wish her family much strength. I am so so sorry - too many women dying. We need a cure for MBC.

This is just terrible. So young, and with two small children. Just sucks. Just awful. Why? Why? Why is this disease so cruel and unpredictable? This is a tragedy. It just couldn't have been her "time" at that young age. Damn!

i agree Catherine. Each loss jerks at my heart. At the learning of it. And forever after.
I think of Shiela, and Brenda, and Chrissy and Karen, and Jilly and so very many (far too many) more.
Such truly special ladies that touched me deeply with their joy and humor and their sweetness and wisdom. Their courage and their fighting spirits.
MBC research is so essential.
If you don't know about the MBC Project -- it involves patients in offering their saliva, their words, access to their medical records (there are nearly 2,000 signed up already). Any cancer patient from any country can sign up.
Please help speed the process of research. So little is dedicated to MBC. And women are suffering and dying with each day. We must all help if we possibly can.
