Thank you for Birthday Wishes

I have not posted for a long time, but just got a Happy Birthday from Her2Support.org. This forum was precious to me for five years after my experience with Stage 1Her2+ BC. I am an 11 year survivor now. When I got my diagnosis, I was terrified. It's now been 11 years. My right breast and right underarm still ache in bad weather to remind me of the experience! Thank you for remembering my birthday. To all of the newly diagnosed -- thank G-d for Herceptin! Treat this disease aggressively and you'll make 11+ years, too.

You are a few months ahead of me in our Cancer Journey...in fact, you, Jean, Steph, Tricia,and others who mean so much to me were the first to respond to my first panicked questions back in the spring of 2005.
