Just saw this one posted on the Hystersister site:

My poem....ode to my uterus...

For all the years you caused me strife,
without you, I couldn't give life.
You caused me pain for 24 years.
Childbirth was my happiest of tears.
The time has come for us to part.
My life, pain free, is soon to start.
You're leaving my body, you get the jist.
You, oh uterus, will NOT be missed!

Love it- had mine taken out 7 yrs ago, do not miss it one bit.

Awesome! had mine removed 2 years ago and do not miss it too. i'm just so happy I got it removed after suffering from adenomyosis for 8 years. what a relief!

My mom had her uterus removed last 2009 and she's all good now, wish I could have made something like this to cheer her up during those times :)
