I just started my new chemo halaven last Tuesday after significant progression in my skin and lungs. I'm still at shock that it hit so fast just in May I had a clean scan and totally normal tumor markers. My dad just called and he suggests that I try immunotherapy in China after I stablize for a few months. I know there are some clinical trials in the US. There is also a clinic in Santa barbara that offers this procedure and they ask for lots of money. In China they withdraw your blood and inject it back to your body. Quite a few hospitals do that procedure. Anyone has any input on the immunotherapy? Thanks!

YanYan, no experience to offer but wanted to let you know I am thinking of you ... I'm sure someone who has some advice will be along soon!

I am so sorry you are having to go through all of this.

I wish I could offer advice but haven't heard of this, but hoping you have a great response with this chemo.

Hi Yanyan. I wish you the best response to the chemo, and to whatever "immunotherapy" you choose to pursue. But "immunotherapy" is a VERY broad term, covering many emerging options. Can you tell us more about the specifics of the option you're contemplating?
