Looking for advice and suggestions please

I come to you all looking for some hope with my newest challenge, brain mets!
I have been doing so well, working full time and 2 yrs of normal markers. This upcoming Fri was going to be my last kadcyla round. My dr was actually going to take me off and just closely monitor me!
Then on Sunday, out of the blue, my left side of tongue and lips went completely numb followed by uncontrollable twitching to the left side of face. I thought I was having a stroke long story short, a MRI revealed brain mets. 10 tumors! 5 of them large! I will be seeing my onc on Friday but wanted to start researching treatment options and clinical trials.
Please share with me any helpful links or suggestions
I'm not ready for this to be over! I have two young girls that need me!!

Keri, many of the members here have done very well in reducing brain mets and I'm sure one of them will be replying to you with good advice, I can only send my good wishes and I'm so sorry you're facing this.

I am starting WBRT today and am pretty nervous about the side effects
There are two trials I am considering after finishing brain rads. One with immunology drug, one w injecting tumors w hepatitis virus, and one using IT herceptin

It ain't over till it's over. I know brain mets are scary, and it must have been terribly disappointing to be NED in the body and then get this news. But there's hope.
