NSAIDS like Motrin reduce prostaglandin E2 and decrease inflammation. There was an article way back in the 1990s in the American Journal of Epidemiology that stated women who took Motrin 4 times per week had a 50% less rate of breast cancer. I imagine NSAIDS could be valuable as an add on treatment. The problem would be that NSAIDS reduce fever and might hinder detection of a chemo induced infection. Also they affect platelet aggregation and cause cause bleeding.
