Great, wonderful to hear from a young person with this disease. I think it is wonderful that movies are coming out about young people with cancer even if they aren't very good because it informs others about this.
You've got a great daughter and I wish her the very best.
hugs and love

Thank you, Penny! It's all over our timelines -- very happy to spread it around!

Hope you're feeling ok and your new cocktail is working and sending those liver mets scurrying.

Love and thanks to all! :)

Beautifully written and very thought provoking. I have felt an inner aversion to the Red Band Society. Exactly why I am not sure. Silly things bug me about the promo, like how bushy and full the main character's eyebrows are when his head is so bald. I know some chemos do not take the eyelashes and brows, but let's face it the bad-uns do. By the end of chemo I looked more like a child on a St. Jude's commercial then one of the kids on Red Band.

Now thanks to your brave and gifted daughter I can have a peace about this show. I may even tune in believing that she is right in saying that it may spur the masses to donate to research outlets.
