It's My Birthday - Thank you for each one

I am 51 today and happy to check in with you all.

I am NED but dealing with the survivorship part of cancer (osteoporosis and cardiomyopathy) and my Crohn's Disease plus complications (kidney stones, no thank you).

I try to be grateful EVERY DAY, but my birthday always reminds me how lucky I am to be here. This board has been a constant for me - whether I checked in or not.

I am sorry to see new people, sorry to see others have passed away, and praying for all of us in all our struggles.

Happy, Happy Birthday - Rebecca - I know we all celebrate and look for the joy in each day. For me, having cancer last year, literally changed my view on everything in life. For the most part, I just don't sweat the small stuff.

I think it's funny how people say, "don't you feel old?" Yes, I do feel old (creaky, etc.) but not old enough yet! I also like to say, "It's better than the alternative."
