BMX done!

Had my bmx sx on Friday and evidently, I was in sx for most of the day. Both surgeons were very happy with the results and they were able to do the immediate reconstruction as well. First night my BP was super low and then red cells dropped too low yesterday, so I ended up with a transfusion.

Overall, I feel great and am in very little pain! I've just been a little sore and achy, and only did 1/2 of a percocet a few times. I think my arm is more bruised from one of the IVs. Not sure how I'm going to feel in a few days of not showering, but hey - at least I don't have to wash my hair! ;)

Glad to hear your surgery went so well. Be sure to take it easy. Doing too much after your surgery will likely mean the drains will need to stay in longer. I thought the drains were the hardest part of the surgery.

Sounds fantastic. You are through the rough stuff and entering the recovery stage. Wishing you speedy healing.

Crb I a so happy your surgery is done. The worse of it is getting the date and then waiting for the date to arrive. Pain wise I am still doing 3 Percocets in 24 hours.
Again though I am elated that this part of it is done for us.
