Well, finished with round 6 yesterday! Back at work today and a bit tired. I had previously done the last 5 chemos on Thurs and took the weekend to recoup (I have off Friday). Did this one earlier b/c I leave the first 2 weekends in June for lacrosse tournaments with my daughter.
I was overwhelmed yesterday when I had 3 friends show up to surprise me, wearing pink, with gifts, pink roses and a big poster congratulating me on completing the chemo! Brought me to tears....isn't it amazing how a "tragedy" like cancer brings out the best in some friends and family? I feel so blessed to have found such close friendships throughout this. And thanks to all the incredible women here who are always available with support and encouragement!
Here's to a wonderful day and happy life for us all!
