I noticed that Denise would have been 49 today, I am sure Ted and the boys are missing her even more so today.

I hope they are comforted somewhat by the wonderful legacy she left.

Dear Denise...As usual, I am days late and a few dollars short. Im thinking Karen is definitely right, and you don't have to age anymore where you are which is WONDERFUL. But I still want to say that back here where we are, we celebrate the day that such a wonderful woman came onto this earth to share her wit, wisdom, sense of humor and love and compassion. The earth is definitely a bit dimmer without your wonderful sparkle among us. Happy Birthday, Denise.

Denise, I never got the chance to know you ... but I am honoring your memory and wonderful sense of humor by telling everyone about the Chemo Ninja Assassins and how to become one! My oncology nurses want all the details at my next chemo, Chemo #4, and I've told them all about you, too. I KNOW your Spirit is alive and with all of us everyday.

My best friend since kindergarten ... and that is a LONG time, I'm 56, is coming next week to stay with me and take me to my 4th chemo and guess what -- HER birthday is January 12th too!!
