Help Admitted to hospital - Kidney problem on Kadclya

Hello all,
Seems like every time I turn around I've developed another problem, this time my kidney function has shot up to 6.38 and cannot pass urine thru my bladder.
I just finished my 4th Kadclya treatment this past Monday. Does anyone know if kidney issues are a side effect of Kadcyla? From what I've read on SEs kidneys were not mentioned.
Really appreciate any advice anyone may offer.

So sorry for what you are going through. I have been on Kadcyla for few months and haven't heard about problem with kidneys. I hope they figure it out quickly and get you back on a path to healing.

Dear Pat,

Kadcyla doesn't appear to affect the kidneys much, but it might if you had a hypersensitivity reaction. However, you may be on other drugs to combat side effects, that might cause renal problems, or something other than a drug may have caused it.

I hope your doctors have been able to detect the cause (eg. infection, a kidney stone etc.) and started treatment. Let us know how you are going.
