Hello Again

I feel like I missed so much! I have been busy being a caretaker to my Mom the last few years I just had to let so much go. Lung cancer was her final struggle, as it was my Dad's back in the 90's. I find myself in need of finding a life again. 8 years cancer free this summer but just couldn't celebrate.

Here's to us! Fighting, winning, loosing, picking up again.. where ever we are, as Tiny Tim said, "A Merry Christmas to us all; God bless us, every one!"

Nice to see you Kim! However, sorry to hear that you have had such a hard row to hoe during recent years. Caregiving has its special moments and I am sure you shared many with your mother throughout that time.

I am presently in the caregiving mode for my mother, who is now living under our roof. She does not have any specific disease other than degeneration of her airways.

All the best to you, and hope you will find satisfying things to occupy your now free time.
