Ladies, My oncologist told me after my first set of scans that there is considerable improvement in lungs! But...I have had achy lower legs and some cramping/ pins and needles feeling in the leg. There are only 2 of us on it at my clinic. Has anyone had this with the legs...also have had some chills. Thanks, Ceesun
Sorry to hear about the leg issues and the chills Ceesun, but so happy to hear about the improvement in the lungs!
Hopefully one of our wise warriors will chime in with some suggestions!
all the best

Ceesum,
That is great news about your lungs. I hope they clear up and remain clear.
Can't add anything about TDM1 side effects as haven't had this treatment.
Ceesun,
Yes, those are side effects I experienced, too. The cramping can go outright rigid and your toes and fingers might get stuck. Same for back and chest muscles when you have a good laugh. Glucosamine/Chondroitin is helpful.
GREAT NEWS on the shrinkage. Hope it's FOREVER!

Hi Ceesun, I am soooo happy that Kadcyla seems to be working. I hope the next scan will bring you to Ned. Yes I have pain and cramps and neuropathy in my legs. But what is strange is that some rounds I have a lot of pain and some I have almost none. The doctors had me take magnesium for some time because of the cramps in my feet and because I also had problems with my eyelids jumping a lot. I do not know if this is very helpful or if it is a placebo. Karen's suggestion may be better. Of course the dose reductions I had helped also. I know that the neuropathy part comes from my first treatment with Taxol. Kadcyla just wakes it up but it is manageable. As for the chills I must have had them only twice on over 25 rounds now. Why those 2 times and not the others, nobody knows but I was not worried since it seems to be a frequent se.

Hi. I am so happy for the news about your lungs. It sounds like several folks here have had some of your other symptoms. I am sure that others will "jump into"" the discussion as well.

I occasionally have cramps and need feelings too. I recently had some muscle spasm and later found out it could be the cause from low platelets. Very happy to hear about the great improvement in your lungs Ceesun !! I am the only one in my doctors office getting Kadcyla and this support group has been a great help and resource !
