This is ongoing news to the fact that India is making the big pharmaceutical companies have a more difficult time having new patents issued for changes in drugs. This has been a standard method in the Us to extend patent coverage, but India has a strong generic group that has a massive say in their government. I work in the pharmaceutical industry and we hear a lot of disparaging comments. I am one of the few that thinks otherwise.
