I just got off the phone with my wonderful MO, Amy Clarke...and
the insurance co has approved 4 more doses of Avastin!!

Woo Hoo! Yay! Hooray!
That's 8 more weeks of trying to nix that swelling!
and NOT popping steroids like M&Ms!

Merry Christmas in July to me!!
Certainly the best gift I've ever gotten for Jesus' Half-Birthday!

Thanks for all the prayers and support!

Well... this Thursday is Avastin infusion #3... of the 2nd round... so I guess it's really #7... but ... WHATEVER!

The Monday after infusion #4 (8?) I'll have an MRI to see the results of this round.
I haven't been able to drop below 2mg/day of dex yet, but on the bright side...
I haven't had to bump it up either.
So... that means things are at least stable. And stable is pretty darn good!

I hope one day to be steady on my feet, and have my right hand do what I want it to do again (like write legibly!)
Seriously, a headless chicken with a crayon grasped in its claw could easily forge my signature better than I can do it myself right now.
Either no one cares whether the signatures match, or I shop so much, all the cashiers know me. Sadly, for my bank account... it's probably the second one. :)

Anyway... that's the latest.
