Ho Ho Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas in July!
In my family... for Christmas in July, we all re-gift something to each other... or pick something up at a second hand store. Then we have a Yankee Swap.
The results are often hysterically funny. There is one silly statue of a teddy bear in a blue flowered bathing suit, and a drink with an umbrella in it, that has been making the rounds in our gift swapping for years now! My son is currently the keeper of the swimsuit bear.
We used to have one ski that got passed around but alas... one of my sister's ex boyfriends got custody of that when they split. (It's probably just as well - we were running out of ways to disguise that bad-boy anyway! and everyone wanted the ski! It's much easier to disguise the bear!)
My one brother wraps up the 5 or 6 best books he's read that year. I always like when I get that one.
My niece almost always wraps up the ingredients for PB&J sandwiches. It's her trademark.
We also have some authentically good Christmas decorations in the swap, because they're on sale for 75% at this time of year!
Anyway... Merry Christmas in July everyone!!
