Wonderful news Tricia! And yet another example of the value of adjuvant Herceptin! Your milestone will give much hope to early stagers.

Yea Tricia--welcome to the 8 club!!

I do think 8 is a significant number for our group because it was 8 years ago that Herceptin was released for treatment of early stage HER2 breast cancer. I was in the first arm of chemo with A/C when it was released and stepped right into the Herceptin/Taxol segement. I count my self extremely lucky!

Eight is Great!

I still remember my surgeon telling me the bad news was my nodes were positive and I had a very aggressive cancer, the good news was a drug had just been approved the prior week to help me!!:) Thank you Herceptin and Dr Slamon from all of us!

geez Becky ... you've got me all confused. I'm sure I'll be
8 on Aug.6th. I even did the math ... 2013 minus 2005 equals 8

Am I missing something? Is it 2014 already? Did I miss New Year's Eve
again???
