This is interesting. I seem to recall we did an informal roll call on this very subject of previous skin cancers prior to our BC diagnosis. I have no idea of what that thread may have been called.

Well, mine came in reverse. I noticed a spot under my eye around 9 months ago but just thought it was a pimple or something. It didn't go away and appeared to get larger. Keep in mind, larger was still very, very small. I decided to go have it looked at because I would like like I had a hair or lash under my eye and kept trying to swat it away. I went to the dermatologist last week, she said it looked suspicious, and it is basal cell carcinoma per the shave biopsy. She said I caught it really early and am scheduled for the procedure to have it removed next week. I hope it's not large on the inside either. Of course, after BC I think of it as a bug on my shoulder to just flick off.

Just don't ignore these types of things. Although they say this type doesn't metastasize, it can spread locally. I'm sure the price I paid for my young and dumb years of sun worship and tanning bed. Not smart for a fair skinned, green eyed girl, but part of my youthful abandon.
