Anyone else have this happen? You can read my signature for details, but i had my first mammo after node dissection (8mo) about 2 weeks ago. They really put the squeeze on that area, and i felt a peculiar, nerve like shooting pain down my arm to the fingertips of thumb, pointer finger and middle finger. Well, now..its really bad...basically any action that requires turning my wrist causes that same weird, shooting pain. I'm icing and wearing a cats paw brace, but HOLYCRAP! Its almost time to plant my garden :).

Well, for sure a nerve had been pinched.
Not wanting to scare you - but any unusual sign needs to be watched and reported.
I was told (by the mammogram technician on the 4th year) that "Oh, just scar tissue!" - turned out it was recurrence all along (for almost 4 years!) 'No wonder' my mammograms had been so painful all the time - there's a tiny 'rock'(tumor) being pressed under the glass! It was finally diagnosed because I had requested an early (just a month earlier) mammogram through the origional breast surgeon!
But nobody had ever told me there's 'scar tissue' on the previous films. My doctors had thought I was hypochondriac ...
Trust, but verify.

I had unbearable similar pain right before my dx eight years, it turns out that I had three nodes pos despite the surgeon convinced I was clear there, I don't wish to alarm you either but this was my experience. It may be simply nerve pain.
