LBBC Conf in PHILA anyone?

Hello Friends,
I'm planning to attend the Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) conference in Philadelphia, an April 12-13, and was wondering if anyone else was planning to be there.

It would be so great to meet and greet my HER2 friends in person. I know there are 2 other sisters who are going...but I'm not going to 'out' them...if they want to chime in here they will.

The cost for the 2 days is $75, and includes breakfast both days, and lunch on Saturday. The URL below is for the site/brochure.

What kind of hotel availability is there?
Is this close to CHOP? It's under consideration here.
I know the CHOP area a little, and it's not that far from NYC. A little interest was piqued last night when a friend told me she was going.

Well...
It's being held at the Leow's Hotel...which is near the Market East train station...not too far from China Town. I think it's around 10th and Market maybe. There's a map at the website.

I think I read something about special rates for the conference, but I didn't need to stay...so I didn't pay close attention.

I'm going! It'll be my first breast cancer conference.

I'll be staying at the home of some friends who live near Center City.

Well, Amy and Denise, I opted not to go.
When I read the agenda, I wanted to see more HER2 addresses. And under the triple-negative category, I didn't see the the copper depletion therapy that is all abuzz from Dr. Vadhat's office. I just lost a YOUNG friend from triple negative and can't help but think this could've helped her. I can't bear to hear about triple negative right now. So please, enjoy yourselves, along with our sisters coming from NY and be sure to report back with exciting news!!
