I love the way the first paragraph begins:
"Chemotherapy kills rapidly dividing cells, her doctor had explained. At the time, Dr. Letai found this commonly held view to be "vaguely unsatisfying."

Vaguely unsatisfying, indeed!

The article is well-written, and understandable. I suspect the actual publication may be a more difficult read (smile).
