I am so sorry to share that KrisVell passed on last night at 9 pm in her own bed at home....just the way she wanted it. I feel blessed to have heard her words; "Kim, it is what it is" and to feel her peace in the face of rising insurmountable struggle. May she pass on with the dignity and grace with which she lived. May she be filled with the peace that passes all understanding. May she feel joy in shedding the burden of a sick body and regain the energy to run across green fields. Fly high dear friend, and thank you for blessings generously shared while you were with us.
Love and Hugs and Peace,
Kim (from CT)

We lost another of our young members in Kris.
Her brave face and will to fight were uplifting, as is her resigned attitude to going the next step.

It was a pleasure to know you, even under such hard circumstances.

Thanks for letting us know...I am just saddened so by this news. I wish there was some way to cut red tape and force the medical community to FIND A CURE.

This year we have lost too many of our Her2 sisters. I will always remember Kris' smile, how thankful she was for Herceptiin and that she ran the half marathon while undergoing treatment. She was a true inspiration and I will never forget her.

Kim,
What a beautiful friend Kim had in you. I will miss Kris tremendously. She loved my father's saying, "You're gonna be good,"
I am sorry things turned out this way, but relieved to know that Kris was no longer bound by pain.
With love always,
Karen
