Anyone have any experience with this drug?

Received my first injection today. Was surprised by placement (abdomen!), frequency (monthly), and length of treatment (one nurse thought it would be for the entire five years of AIs!).

My onc had made it sound like a one-time, easy injection. I did not know to ask otherwise!

What have been your experiences??

Hi There,

I had to have zoladex inj every month until I had my ovaries removed. The only other option, I believe, is to take Tamoxifen as it acts differently within the body.
