how long to stay on zometa or denosumab?

Does anyone have any data on how long should a patient be treated with zometa or denosumab?

For bone mets it can be a continuing process - once a month for many years.

If it is just because of osteopenia or osteoporesis due to aromatase inhibitors or natural occuring, it can be once or twice per year for a couple of years (or ongoing if the condition persists)

I think Zometa (on the basis that it is the equivalent of zoletrust here) is a continuing treatment till there is no FDG intake in the bones.Hema is having it once in two months and last time the onc was wondering if he can make it once in 3 months
