Halaven

So, who here has been on halaven?

This is my sixth chemo and this one scares me for some reason. I keep reading that people sleep for 20 hours after it and I just sleep enough as it is without adding more!

It was a year ago October 3rd that I had my liver resection and I am one of the unlucky ones whose cancer has returned. It is still only in the liver, and in the section they ablated and not near the removed area. I'm going for a consult with my surgeon to see if they can ablate it again.

In the meantime, I go on Halaven. Any experiences?

After all you had done to your liver, sorry this is your situation.

Sheila was the first here to get Halaven, and got the better part of a year out of it. JML also got over a year of shrinkage and stable.

Not sure who else, but I am sure there must be more. I do not recall either of the above gals reporting sleeping anything like 20 hours. I think they were able to be pretty active during their time on Halaven.
