Brenda (Hutchibk) needs some love and prayers...

Hello friends,

Our fellow Her2 warrior Brenda is in some trouble and needs our support. She usually likes to keep her own issues on the downlow, but her family gave me the go ahead to post this here.

Our friend and mentor Brenda has been hospitalized with complications from (as she put it before going in) "a leetle bleeding" in the cerebellum. Over the past week, this developed into a significant hemmorhage, and although the bleeding appears to be under control for now, it has been one step forward, two steps back for the past several days.

Her family is not monitoring this site, but has set up a caringbridge site where you can go for updates and to leave messages and good thoughts for Brenda. the link is below.

I've known Brenda for many years now, and she is one tough lady - who needs a big lift right now.

Ok. I am so scared for our dear Hucklebuck who is in a real battle for her life. Brenda is brilliant, vivacious, and a tremendous warrior. I know she will pull through this with God's help and her indomitable spirit.

I was feeling kinda down today, but after reading Brenda's CaringBridge site I feel so silly. God bless Brenda and her family and friends who are consumed by her recovery and desperate for signs of improvement. It is trials such as these that put everything in perspective.

Brenda's family posted late last night that she will be entering Hospice today, Wednesday. They have thanked all who have posted messages of support and love for their "Shining Angel." If you have a moment please go to Brenda's CaringBridge site to view the most amazing photo of Brenda. She looks like the shining star that she is and always will be in our hearts. (I was able to attach that photo below, but go to see the gallery of photos of our dear Brenda if you can).

Brenda is dear to my heart and this hurts more than I can express. The world needs more Brenda Hutchisons, not less.

Bless you dear, Brenda, may you rally and confound your medical team yet again, but if not then may angels sing thee to thy sleep. The world will be a sadder place, heaven will rejoice.
