Joining the Perjeta Parade....Prayers svp!

Well, after 34 months of tykerb/herceptin, my oncologist has decided to drop the tykerb and replace with pertusamab (perjeta) along with herceptin. I had some slight progression last check and rather than wait it out, and after lung tumor re-test, which did not show any advantage to adding hormonals, this is the new action plan. He said this is quite new and promising which I had heard on this board, of course; so please a few prayers and good luck are appreciated. In friendship, Cathy aka Ceesun

Hi Cathy,

I am on the Herceptin/Perjeta combo. Thus far easy to do. Only three sessions thus far. Energy good. Working fulltime. A little tired but I know I just need to go to bed earlier. Drink lots of water. PM if you have any questions.
