I can't begin to tell you the feelings I have today. 6 years out! It has been a journey. My onc said I could not have gotten breast cancer at a better time.
Herceptin has been my miracle, along with my wonderful family and friends.
As I celebrate I can't think of those fighting the fight, like Sheila and Chrisy and so many other sisters on this site. They were unable to have Herceptin when first diagnosed. Or how Christine and Joe has touched my life. I will never forget what they have done for all Her2+ BC survivors. We miss you Joe and wish you well Christine.
I had no one to talk with when I found I was Her2+. That is when I found this site. I learned so much, even attending SABCS twice. Thank you all for being there for me in word, thoughts and prayers.
My prayers are of thankfulness today and for all dealing with Breast Cancer in any way. We need a cure for all!
