Tumor markers are going down after 2 cycles of perjeta/herceptin/tykerb!

My markers were at 76.9 5 weeks ago (ca 27-29), 96.9 2 weeks ago, and this week they are down to 79.3! This is the first decrease in this marker since they started going up for the first time 9 months ago! Before that they were in the normal range for 2 years. I haven't had my first scan since starting this combo, but will probably have one next month. Other than some struggles with diarrhea, this is an easy combo!

Did you have to jump through any hoops to get the Perjeta?

Did the chemo sensitivity tests help come up with your current treatment plan? Since you had already failed on Tykerb alone, you were not eligible for Perjeta under the Genentech rules. Can you share what tricks your onc used to get the drug?
