2nd surgery on ankle

I broke both bones in left ankle in April and had surgery followed by a month in rehab. One incision never healed and is infected. Surgeon will do surgery on Aug.1 to take out hardware on that side and hopefully then the bacterial infection will heal. This will be a day surgery but I'm worried about both the outcome and getting along at home with that big boot on again. My son can be here the 1st night and next day. Please pray that everything will go well. Thank you.
