After the MOST hellacious day of getting scans (ranging from spilling an entire bottle of water into my purse after getting out of the car through and including IV set up by a nurse (?) who I think thought she was in a jousting contest...all in the immediate neighborhood of the Giants ballpark on a game day...

The results were much better than the process - continued shrinkage of the stupid tumor in my liver!!!!! Now effectively turning back time to about last July.

And despite 6 weeks of being off my feet and out of my exercise regimen, LVEF is still a healthy 64:)

I feel soooo good this week - it is my week off chemo - and made that much better by knowing this stuff is kicking canser butt as much as it has mine on occasion!

Wow Chrisy! What great news, this has truly been a great week here, so much good news and it was so needed. I admit I have been quite down lately with the passing of Courtney, whom I had the pleasure to meet and then Kiwigirl. This emotional roller coaster ride can be really hard sometimes, but I am so glad to have this forum and all you wonderful women and men to share this journey with. Many blessings this week!

Chrisy, You rock! http://cdn-cf.aol.com/se/clip_art/gstres/celebrte/celeb-confettiIt's all about the shrinkage. It's all worth it, when you get such encouraging news. Stupid tumor indeed. Mindless. Keep on doing what you're doing. It's working.

And -- would someone be kind enough to tell me what the heck LVEF means. I am clueless.

Utterly joyful for you, Chrisy. Much love, as always,

Andi

WOW - way to go - shrink, shrink, shrink, shrink your tu-u-u-u-mor!

Andi - good to see you my friend. LVEF + Left Ventricle Ejection Fraction. That is what a MUGA scan tells you.

You're feeling perky and well I pray!

Thanks for the LVEF note. I do ECHOs and constantly know my EF. My peri cardial effusion remains since Taxotere (a permanent gift). But the drug did kill every one of my tumors throughout my liver, so I'm good. A little effusion around my heart is fine, especially since it remains small after alllll these years.

I was thinking BFF, LOL, what the heck is LVEF. Tehe...
