I think we have a right to know about how our foods are grown and processed, so we can make informed decisions when we go food shopping.

I've always thought of "natural" as unadulterated and certainly not GMO, and most people I talk to agree with this interpretation. But because the FDA does not regulate the use of the word "natural", it is liberally used by food companies to hoodwink consumers into thinking they are buying non-GMO products.

Yes, it's unfortunate that the FDA often allows many things that are actually harmful to our bodies and the planet, but bans,limits, or downplays things that are helpful.
