So the biopsy showed nothing had changed from my original tests. Still ER/PR- and Her2+++. No one is really sure what is going on with my chest and the wheezing, but we are hoping it responds to the Navelbine.
I start treatment today and hope it is as gentle to me as most ladies say.
The tumor is around the heptatic artery so we REALLY need to get this thing gone!
I did not qualify for the TDM-1 trial here because I have not had Tykerb.
So, I am off to the clinic once a week for 3 weeks, one week off and we do over.
I just want to feel well enough to go to Paris in May to see my daughter.
Feeling optomist and bought our tickets yesterday.
I am hopeful.

Emelie,
At least you have a plan and can get back to "doing something" about that stupid tumor. I like that you committed to the trip - and I know it will be wonderful!

I did weekly Navelbine and really, it was quite easy on me. I hope the same for you.

You will enjoy Paris, how wonderful that you get to go!

Thank you so much for all your wonderful words of encouragement. They really do mean so much. As Ellen would say, "right back at ya".
Keeping you all in my prayers,
