calcium and bone mets

does anyone take calcium supplements to help with bone mets pain?

Yes. I was taking Vitamin D but my doctor said it has to be taken with calcium so she prescribed a chewable tablet combining both. I was having bone pain but now it comes and goes and is not so bad. Dont know if its the calcium.
