I celebrated my 13th anniversary since my diagnosis on January 6, 1999.
Happy Dance all around !!!!!!
I am still doing the things I have always done. See the link below for information about that. Staying healthy or getting healthy is a 24/7 kind of job, but there is so much life to experience and so many learning experiences to learn from on Earth that I am planning to stay here as long as possible.
I try to eat healthy, have a good frame of mind and get some exercise everyday. I do all my own housework, cooking, laundry, shopping, paperwork etc. etc. etc. I socialize with friends and keep in touch with relatives and friends in many corners of the earth.
I learn as much as I can about my health problems.
I positive most of the time, very proactive, and very aggressive. I give my doctors alot of work (and probably alot of headaches), but that is okay. They get paid to help people. I expect them to respect each other and to respect me. If that doesn't happen I make changes to the group dynamics. I participate in decisions about what to do about the health problems that pop up from time to time.
I am going to keep putting one foot in front of the other and never give up !!!!!!!!!!
I hope you all do the same !! Happy New Year and many blessings of peace and health to everyone.

Thanks for all the good wishes everyone. This year is starting off great, so maybe 13 is my lucky number.
I keep doing all the things I have done over the years for "insurance".
Take care everyone.

Please help. My sister is needing Herceptin treatment after biopsy, lumpectomy, masectomy, 6 rounds of chemo, radiation and now Herceptin. We come from Kenya and there is no financial support so this has drained our family financially. We have no idea how we are going to raise the funds for Herceptin treatment about 15 000 dollars. I cannot find this financial support thread in the link. Can someone tell me what to do? She is 31 with two kids under 10

Bless you all

I think Genentech sometimes give this drug for free or a small amount to people on a strict low income so you could try contacting them for assistance but hopefully someone else can advise you more!
