It has been a really good group to represent the HER2 patient community this year. I think I was rounding up some contacts at other booths in the exhibit hall at that "Kodak" moment.
The woman who is in charge of registration told me that the conference had a little over 7,000 attendees this year. So we saw some old friends, and made some new friends.
The weather held out very nicely until this afternoon, when some much needed rain has fallen steadily.

Great gang !! Great photos. I wish I was there. Maybe next year !!
One of my docs goes to the conference every year. I am looking forward to my next chat with him and to reading your insights about it. I am looking forward to more photos. I started reading updates already and even share the news about Petuzamab with two of my other docs.
Thanks for participating and have good trips home.

Great picture. I am anxious to hear what new treatments are out there. The news was very positive about pertzumab. My onco. mentioned that a possible treatment for me in the future if needed. She attended the conference.
Hope I am well enough to join you wonderful ladies at future conferences.

A big thank you to all of you who work hard to keep this forum going, and who represent HER2+ patients at the various conferences. Especially for the old-timers, it must be both satisfying, and sad, to continue this work without Joe. How wonderful that Debra is active in her parents' work.
It was a pleasure to get some face-to-face time with some of you. I'm already looking forward to next year, and I'm not even home yet (long layover in Denver).

Just noticed that Steph is missing from the photo!
The conference was great as usual, and I was happy to see everybody again and meet Debra, Alice, Jessica, Karen, and Courtney. This year I attended with another patient advocate organization, and we also had an exhibit table that turned out to be right next to the HER2 Support Group!

And, like the other ladies wrote...I can't wait to hear all the great news you have to report!

A couple more photos. KarenZ, Rhonda (Sassy) and I were the last three to depart so were able to have a little time to relax and enjoy the Riverwalk. As well as have a leisurely "goodby" at the airport.
We were riding high on all the good news for those with HER2 positive BC!
It had been a very intense previous 5 days, going from morning until about 9:30 pm after the evening presentations. Don't worry, there are buffets at every turn beginning at 5 pm during the poster sessions. They keep us well fed!

It was truly our pleasure to attend the conference. It is an amazing (exhilarating/exhausting/incredible) experience. There is nothing quite like it- from 7:30 a.m. until 9:30 or 10:00 at night. We all learn a lot, from the presentations and special events and each other. Can't believe I am actually not still there!
