Hello Friends, After my recent round of tests last Oct., I reminded my oncologist about an mri of the brain. He said I think your brain is just fine (ha!) and then ordered one. I am happy to say that I just got the all clear news-no evidence of disease! Now, if that darn lung nodule would just go-go-go! Any way, I decided to finally have a much needed cataract surgery of both eyes this past November. Wow, my vision is almost 20-20 again, no more glare, can drive at night again, and everything just looks crisper. It's funny but I commented to the eye doc that I have had many "procedures"/ surgeries since turning 50 and I was very hesitant of more. His comment to me was rather interesting--"I bet this procedure caused you the least pain of them all." How true! Anyway, I am now off to Florida to catch up with my hubby, then back to Michigan for Christmas, and hopefully to Sarasota for my second snowbird winter. Life goes on. thanks for "listening!" Ceese aka Cathy
Wow, Cathy, this is great news! All the best in your travels and holiday,
Peacefully yours,
Karen

I just had one cataract done and look forward to the second. I agree about the surgery. Of all the "proceedures" I have endured in recent years, this was almost pleasant! The process was very professional and comfortable and the result was so good!! Unlike having part of my lung removed for no reason, for instance!

Hi
Pleased your op went so well. My mother had both of hers done and couldn't believe the improvement in her vision! Glad the cancer is stable and you are doing fine.
