Elevated CA 27.29 but still within normal range

My CA 27.29 jumped from 24 in Sep to 31 in Oct and 32 in Nov. CEA was however the highest at 1.4 when CA 27.29 was the lowest. I finished radiation in Sep and am on 3-week herceptin. My oncologist does not seem to be concerned as long as it is still within the normal range. I feel very nervous about the rising of my TM. When i was first diagnosed at stage 3, my TM was 35. Anyone else had this happened when they are on herceptin only? Thanks!

My oncologist says "normal" is "normal" and it's usual to fluctuate up & down a little. I know the TM #s are scary. Try to relax with normal. For perspective, my ca2729 is about 2000 so I've been living with lots of scary #'s and would love to see a normal again.

Mine always scare me too -but my Oncologist shakes her head at me and smiles "they are fine, completely normal". Here are my results... (sorry I dont know which is which but one has to be below 40 and the other below 5)

These start about 3 weeks after chemo ended:

4/6 - 24 & 2.3
4/27 - 19 & 2.3
6/8 - 15 & 2.4
7/20 - 20.5 & 2.4
8/31 - 14.6 & 1.9
10/12 - 19.2 & 2.0
