Hey everyone. Just had to share this newspaper article with you. It iis a story about my cancer. there are a few things are little messed up... but only members of the board will know the technical errors. lol

It is complete with pictures of me too... ones you have not seen. :-)

the article is on page 1 and page 10. jsut had to share with all of you... you are my "support group" she mentions in the article!

What a terrific article! Such a beautiful portrait of you, and your wonderful family. (Seriously, could your granddaughters be any cuter?! And they obviously adore their "granny"!) And good for you! coaching soccer...with everything else that's happened! You are an amazing woman, my friend!

I laughed when I saw your mohawk picture! I did the same thing! I went to a "bob", then the Madame Hooch, from Harry Potter, then a mohawk...then the Sinead O'Connor, and finally the Michael Jordan. I wanted to have fun with it, and like you...to be in control. Goofy me, I'm not as clever as you are...I didn't take pictures.

I can't tell you how grateful I am that you shared this. You made my day! I've been feeling a little down, over the last couple of days (tired of being tired...healing from surgery...nothing major) and this article about you, and the way you kicked cancer to the curb...was just what I needed.
Bonita, once again, you are my inspiration!
As a fellow stage IIIc, ER/PR neg survivor...your "good fortune" reminds me that I can do this! My "good fortune" is waiting just around the "crook in the road". :) Which reminds me...God Bless your husband, Scott! What a blessing to have a man like him in your life! And clearly, he treasures you!

[My computer (mainly the Internet connection) is still having problems. Will take it to the shop Monday to switch the chip to a new jacket - so I won't be responsible if the chip gets damaged... :)
