Tomorrow, October 16th, is my 5 year cancerversary!!

As many of you know, I went in for a breast reduction on Oct. 16, 2006, after a clean mammo and u/s 3 months prior. My PS saw an area that looked suspicious, cut it out separately, and the pathology came back 10 days later as 1.7 cm. triple+ IDC. And so my journey began...

I am happy to be NED and feeling pretty good after 5 years, and am especially grateful for the friends and support of this board. Of course I must thank Christine and our dear Joe, for creating and sustaining our Her2 group family.

I wish for NED status for everyone.

Attended a breast cancer walk today. They give survivors a string of pink beads for every year. Encouraging to see them all!
