Look Who's Back...TIPTOE ~~~

Tiptoe came from Laurel and had a quick stop over in Illinois, before heading back to Canada to visit her Mama, Pink Girl...had to post a few shots...Tippy will be going to chemo with me Wednesday, and my sister will meet her as she has chemo that day too!

For those who have never met Tiptoe, I will let Pink Girl explain how she came to be! She's a world traveler!

We had fun with Tiptoe when she visited us in Mississippi. Took her sightseeing. Glad she is well. I am sure she looks forward to seeing Pink.

We took her to NYC! Pictures of her at the Statue of Liberty and gazing into NYC from the bridge. Then Halloween in Lambertville surrounded by ghouls. Its been 2 or 3 years since she visited me. I hope she still has her "Esmeralda" halloween costume.

She is all alone, I think Pink Girl has all her belongings...she had quite an entourage of items....got to be a bundle to ship, so its just her now. Funny, I was thinking about the Halloween costume you had for her, with the hat....it is October.

Awwww... my little Tipster ... I can't wait to see her. I have
a basket of wool ready for her nesting. Thanks for the pics Sheila.

Yes Becky, I still have her hallowe'en costume, her reading glasses,
Tex and the rubber Chicken. Her steamer trunk was just getting too
heavy to mail but all of her gifts are still in it ... except for some candy
that I ate so it wouldn't go bad :) One of my favourites is the pink
sweater from Kate the Great!!! Lots of memories in Tippy's trunk.

I would love to see her (and Tex) perhaps for the end of Nov... she could travel w/ me to Denver for TDM1 and to SABCS in San Antonio. I could send her on w/ someone after San Antonio? If so, she would need her glasses to attend SABCS...

Aw, I have never met her, but I remember hearing about her!!! If Pink Girl is her mama, she must be one, great.....what is she, anyway??????????? Hamster?!

Ceesun, If you do a few searches you should be able to find a lot of posts about Tiptoe and friends. She is a Chinese hamster and the word is that Herceptin is made from the ovaries of Chinese hamsters. I just typed in "Tiptoe" in the search posts and they all came up. And Sheila, The pictures are absolutely beautiful.

Re - Tex and Tip.
I think it was more like Post Traveling Stress Syndrome. Some take all that hopping around better than others. Tip took right to it, and Tex seems more of a homebody.

I am spending the winter in Naples, FL and would love to get Tiptoe to the beach. How can I get that to happen??

It does not look like Tiptoe has aged much. What a relief. Maybe she found the fountain of youth and maybe Tex is jealous. Traveling can wear one out. I am sure that Pink will plan a spa weekend for both of them. Eh?

I was in the middle of chemo when I first heard about Tiptoe and it was a giggle to follow her journeys during treatment. Put Oregon on the travel itinerary. We have room for both of them at our house.

Are their passports up-to-date?
