sudden muscular pais

Hema is now on tykerb and xeloda.She suddenly developed muscular pains in the thigh calf and shoulder.
The onc said it is one of the side effects of the treatment.Has anyone else experienced that?

Is she possibly low on potassium? This can happen is the body loses too many fluids. Also make sure there are no red or warm spots on the calves or legs, which could indicate a blood clot.

Hoping things will improve for Hema

Can Hema's doctor check for Myositis (inflammation of the muscles)? Pain is a symtom of it.
