Delighted to join the six year club!!!

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share my good news that today I had the results of my mammo which was all clear so I can finally say I'm six years out!!!:)

My Onc has agreed to have me remain on arimidex for two more years (possibly more depending on newer studies) but will also consider increasing the zometa to twice yearly rather than once due to my osteopenia.

My thanks to all of you here who's support over the years has helped make this adventure more bearable and less frightening than it otherwise may have been:)

congrats! was wondering, since you're as far out as me, back in 2005 i had a double partial - do you get menstrual tenderness? i thought i was gutted like a pumpkin at Halloween, but 'the girls' still know when im about to start? you heard of that before?

Colette sorry for the delay in replying to you, although pre menopausal at dx I had an ooph in '06 so I could take arimdex so all those menstrual twinges are a thing of the past, no regrets!!!:)
