Hi -
I know it is very annoying. These people are the SAME group. We ban them and they come back with a different IP and member name.

Yesterday I deleted 14 or more of their "messages."

Thanks for taking care of this on the forum site. But a bigger problem is their posts send an email if you're part of a thread and if you open that, then they're into your computer. I'm hoping I didn't get a virus or phished.

Ever since this last batch of spammers all of my e-mail notifications have been going into JUNK ... weird or what?

I wonder if that means your virus filter is detecting the email notifications as spam or infected?

Any way to scan one of your notification messages to see why it is going to junk?

If you receive an e-mail notification because the spammer posted to a thread you are subscribed to, the e-mail would still be from the site, not from the spammer. So opening an e-mail notification should not pose a threat.

Not sure why your spam detector is picking up on the notifications, but the work-around is to open the junk mail folder, select the diverted e-mail and mark as "not junk". If you are using Outlook, a window will pop up allowing you to select "always trust e-mail from this address". Check the box. The e-mail address is the HER2 address, not the spammer's.

Last week I received about 4 different response to thread emails...all different subjects....but the comment was "thanks for share"
