Your Experience With TDM-1?

Dear Friends,
I am wondering what your experience with TDM-1 has been. For example, how long you have been on it, if you experienced side effects, did you have any progression while on it, and if so, how long did mets occur after starting it?
I am gathering information for the possibility it may be considered for me, so please feel free to add any additional comments.

Hi Karen,
I was the first to go on it in Sept, 2007. It worked for me, but I had to go off of it after two years because of a side effect. I suggest that you read all of my prior posts.

I just had my first treatment 3 weeks ago and am having my second on Weds. So far I am just fatigued fatigued fatigued.
The key seems to be keeping your LVEF over 50% (which can take some diligent discipline), doing what you can to keep you platelets up, and keeping your liver really clean, unstressed and healthy. Those are the areas of your body that T-DM1 beats up a little bit more.

Chrisy has been on it over 3 years now, she is my mentor and touchstone. Hopefully she will check in here and give you her experiences.
