View Full Version : Prayers & Good Thoughts For Bonnee

Hi, everyone,
I got word yesterday that one of my regular friends, Bonnee, at our Friday chemo sessions is not doing well at all. Her markers are up and her other blood test results were not good. She's having a brain MRI today and a PET/CT on Wednesday. She is not HER2 positive. Please, if you have a moment, think of her and send good wishes. It's her second time around and she's losing hope--and the will.

I saw Bonnee today and she told me that she'd had major progression with Navelbine.

They are putting her on Gez (does anyone know the proper name of this chemo, and have you tried it?). Once says she has many years left and Gez will work wonders for her.

Sorry to hear bout Bonnee's progression. Could she be referring to Gemcitabine also known as Gemzar? What ever it is I hope it works.

Many prayers for Bonnee, that she may find strength to fight back once again. I too am wondering if she is referring to Gemzar....there are so many new drugs out there..may she find the one that works!
